Nestled in the woods on the shore of Pennsylvania’s Lake Wallenpaupack, Woodland Hills is a private member community with year-round vacation and permanent residences.
Woodland Hills is considered one of the finest lakefront communities on Lake Wallenpaupack. Our residents enjoy beautiful, well-maintained homes and a serene, wooded setting with numerous community amenities including lake access areas, a beach with swim area, picnic areas, basketball court, tennis/pickleball court, playground area, and community docks.
Lake Wallenpaupack is the third largest lake in Pennsylvania measuring 52 miles of shoreline, 13 miles in length, 60 feet at the deepest point, and has in excess of 5,700 acres of surface water. It was created in 1926 by PPL, the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company (now Brookfield Renewable Energy), for hydroelectric purposes as well as flood control. Today it is best known as one of the major recreational destinations in the Pocono Mountains.
Woodland Hills community is located in Paupack Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania and is in the Wallenpaupack Area School District.
